Instabili Vaganti is in Santiago, Chile, to participate in PLATEA – Professionals’ Week 2026, a platform dedicated to performing arts professionals within the Festival Internacional Teatro a Mil (January 19–24).
The company is currently participating in meetings, professional events, and networking activities to consolidate relationships, initiate new collaborations, and develop international distribution and co-production opportunities.
During PLATEA, Instabili Vaganti will present several projects and artistic works for distribution, sharing their research into contemporary theater, performance practices, and intercultural dialogue, and promoting three main areas of development.
First, the company is bringing “The Globe Performing Space” to the attention of international professionals, an eco-digital hub immersed in the natural setting of the Bologna Apennines: a geodesic dome designed as a space for creation and encounter, dedicated to artistic residencies, performances, training, and site-specific projects, in a vibrant relationship between landscape, community, and new technologies.
PLATEA also presents the PerformAzioni – International Performing Arts Festival, an international festival curated by Panicarte and directed by Instabili Vaganti. This festival is a platform for experimentation, training, and dialogue on contemporary performance practices, with a special focus on the local dimension and the creation of contexts for exchange between artists and audiences.
Finally, the presence in Chile is part of the Beyond Borders – International Project, an international project conceived and directed by Instabili Vaganti to develop transnational creative networks and processes, foster mobility and cooperation between different cultural contexts, and support new production and circulation trajectories. Since 2021, the project has been supported by the Ministry of Culture through the Boarding Pass Plus call (and was also the winner in the most recent edition).
