The 2025 finale of Instabili Vaganti had the weight and truth of unforgettable experiences. On December 20, in Naples, the company presented a special performance of “Made in Ilva,” performing for the first time inside a prison, that of
Secondigliano. In addition to the show, the company also conducted two theater workshops that created a dialogue between prisoners, volunteers, and citizens, also opening a precious space for relationships between prisoners and their children.
The beginning of 2026 then led the company on another path: that of international connections. From January 19 to 24 2026, Instabili Vaganti participated in PLATEA – Platea Professionals’ Week 2026 in Santiago of Chile, an event dedicated to contemporary performing arts to foster networking, professional exchange, and new collaborations between Europe and Latin America.
And while theater continues to travel, the moving image also carries forward the company’s research: on January 21 and 23, the film “Frontières#Tunisie” was presented at the Breaking Walls Dance Film Festival in Cairo, bringing to Egypt a work that intertwines the body, memory, and the crossing of borders.
Three stages, three geographies, a single direction: to transform every border— social, cultural, human—into a meeting place.
