Charfeddine Taouriti

Performer • Dancer • Coreographer Tunisia

Charfeddine Taouriti, born in 1987, is a Tunisian dancer and choreographer. Growing up in a family of dancers, he was introduced to classical dance by his brother at age 5. He later explored modern dance and hip-hop, discovering his passion for movement. At 8, he choreographed his first piece to music from Sister Act.

He formed his first dance group in middle school and later led another for 11 years at the Kheireddine Youth Center. Charfeddine holds a professional dance card from the Ministry of Culture and a coaching diploma from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He trained with renowned choreographers such as Nawal Skandrani, Akram Khan, and Megan Bascom.

Specializing in modern dance, hip-hop, and ragga, he also embraced voguing, house dance, and street jazz. He performed at festivals like the International Salsa Festival in Marrakech and the Choreographic Days of Carthage. As an instructor, he taught for over a decade at K’Danse and worked on film choreography with various artists.

Charfeddine has also toured with Tunisian rapper Balti, showcasing his versatile approach to dance across different artistic platforms.
