Michele began as a dancer and gradually investigated corporeality in general through research on physical theater, improvisation and finally shared authorship. He trained as a dancer at Opus Ballet Centro Choreografico and then continued at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, where he earned a Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance Performance with Distinction. Within the VERVE program he dances for Hannes Langolf, Sita Ostheimer, Lenka Vagnerova and Matthew Robinson. He then takes part in the creation of Yuval Pick’s ‘Vocabulary of need’ at the CCNR in Lyon. Since the outbreak of the pandemic he decided to focus on discovering Italian realities by collaborating with: Kinkaleri, Sofia Nappi, Company Blu, Cie Twain, Gruppo Nanou and Luna Cenere. He also briefly attended Franca Ferrari’s Incubator for Future Choreographers and will take part in Saeed Hani’s creation ‘INLET’ in Germany. Michele is currently based in Tuscany, where moreover he is studying Psychological Science and Techniques at the University of Florence and where he is collaborating with Sara Capanna and Barbara Carulli in the development of the project Tracce | Looking for a place to die, co-produced by Anghiari Dance Hub and Company Blu, and winner of the Theodor Rawyler 2022 award.
