Rebecca Carluccio is a professional dancer. She began her professional journey in 2018, when she attended the Vivo Ballet Dwell Program directed by Enzo Celli, then she took part in an intensive term at NOD, Nuova Officina della Danza directed by Silvana Ranaudo where she had the opportunity to study with several choreographers and directors of contemporary dance companies such as: Bruno Guillore, Tom Weinberger, Matan David, Karen Rosenberg, Rebecca Hitting.
In 2019, after being selected by Marie Chouinard, she took part in the Venice Biennale Dance College where she got to study with Trisha Brown Danza Company and Alessandro Sciarroni to stage two pieces during the closing night of the Venice Biennale Dance Festival. The pieces in question were: Set/ Reset and Reset from Trisha Brown Dance Company’s repertoire and Dance me till the end of love, a new production by Alessandro Sciarroni.
She has honed her craft through workshops and intensive paths such as that of Equilibrio Dinamico Ensemble directed by Roberta Ferrara. She worked as a professional dancer for the Biennale Danza Coreografi directed by Marie Chouinard in 2020, for the company Uscita di Emergenza directed by Davide Romeo and for Enzo Celli’s company in 2018.
She describes herself as a versatile dancer who is quick to learn, always willing to challenge herself, and a very sunny person who brings her positive energy everywhere.
