INCREDIBOL! – the CREATIVE INNOVATION OF BOLOGNA is a project set up in 2010 to support the growth of the cultural and creative sector in Emilia-Romagna.
Coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna and supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region in partnership with public and private stakeholders, INCREDIBOL! acts through:
- a periodic call for proposals to support the development of start-ups in the cultural and creative sector
- a periodic call for proposals to support the internationalisation of regional creative enterprises
- an orientation desk that receives by appointment
- allocation of spaces and buildings owned by the Municipality of Bologna on free loan to cultural and creative professionals
- information and opportunities through the official website www.incredibol.net, on the project facebook page facebook page and in the creative section of www.emiliaromagnastartup.it
- organisation of events such as: free workshops, meetings open to the public, networking and b2b meetings
- special and pilot projects and participation in European projects, networks and international activities on the topic of CCIs
In addition, the project relies on a network of public and private partners active throughout the region that offer guidance, training, and consultancy tailored to the needs of the winners.
The CCI sector plays an increasingly important role in our territory, both in terms of economic development and job creation, and as a factor of social innovation, urban regeneration and improvement of the quality of life.
The Emilia-Romagna Region has recognised its importance by including it as a development trajectory within the ‘smart specialisation strategy‘ for 2014-2020, known as ‘S3’, highlighting its still partially unexpressed potential and launching new policies and support actions.
