The Italian Cultural Institute has the task of spreading knowledge of Italian culture in China and organizes events and initiatives open to all those who want to learn more about Italy and its culture.
The IIC is therefore open to all friends who are passionate about Italian music, art, literature, language and cinema, but also organizes meetings and conferences dedicated to Italy’s technological and scientific excellence.
The “Italian way of life” is the result of multiple factors: the beauty of Italian cities and their urban organization, the care for food, the respect for the environment, the pleasure of elegance. All these elements are connected to a culture spread throughout the territory, which also includes a productive reality of many companies capable of linking the richness of tradition with the most modern technologies. This is how Italian fashion and Italian design are born.
The IIC also organizes events and meetings to bring this precious heritage to the attention of the general public and to ignite and renew curiosity about Italy and its beauty.
The IIC, together with the Italian Embassy, also provides help and assistance to young people who intend to pursue a period of study at Italian educational institutions.
he IIC glad to strengthen ties of cooperation and friendship with Chinese friends and is open to collaboration with Chinese public and private institutions and entities, including taking its events outside the institute’s institutional spaces, with the intention of reaching out to more and more Chinese people of all ages.
