Founded in Bologna in 2005, the Panicarte Association has established itself from the beginning as a vibrant hub of young talent and a creative hub, offering training opportunities to young artists and theater organizers. Thanks to this journey, many have founded independent groups or joined historic and nationally renowned companies, as well as participating in the organizational staff of major festivals and theater organizations in the Bologna area and nationwide, including the Instabili Vaganti theater company.
With twenty years of experience organizing festivals and events dedicated to theater and contemporary performing arts, the association boasts, among its key initiatives, the direction of the LIV Performing Arts Center, the TRENOff Festival, and the Children’s Circus and Theater School in Bologna.
Since 2024, the Association has undertaken an internal reorganization and strategic redefinition process, focusing on the structuring and implementation of the PerformAzioni Festival, marking an important step in its evolution in the Valsamoggia area.
This reactivation process, which involved both administrative aspects and the reorganization of staff and members, is supported by a renewed vision, aimed at consolidating and expanding the impact of the Association’s activities in the Bologna area and the region.
