Beyond Borders Project
Beyond Borders is a project for the internationalization of Italian live performance, conceived and directed by Instabili Vaganti, in partnership with ATER Fondazione, Accademia Perduta – Romagna Teatri, La MaMa Umbria International and supported by the Ministry of Culture through the Boarding Pass Plus call.
CONCEPT
Beyond Borders aims to overcome all kinds of BORDERS: between the arts, stylistic, cultural, geographic, linguistic, gender, and thought, to create an international, multidisciplinary and cosmopolitan artistic community capable of generating opportunities for networking, collaboration and sharing best practices.
STEPS
The working method is based on the integration of digital into the process of creation and production of the live performance work. The working process includes moments of artistic remote collaboration and steps of exchange, creation and co-production, in Italy and abroad, through periods of artistic residency.
PARTICIPANTS
The goal of the project is to internationalise Italian artists and operators’ careers, with specific attention to Under 35s. The aim is to stimulate their professional growth and inclusion in this new multimedia era, with mentoring and accompanying actions shared by the project partners.
